Something Old, Something New … you get the rest lol. Sometimes you get a bunch of stuff that sits in a pile. You look at the pile and say, ” I will get to that just as soon as I can.” Well, you know um, yeah.

So…

It has been a while. How are you? I Missed you all. I have decided to give you a double dose to make up for lost time. 10, 10 songs for all to enjoy. Yep that is right. 10 songs.

What does that mean? Artists you know have some new ish that you might enjoy! Artists like Imagine Dragons, Billie Eilish, Weezer and Rise Against. Plus I have some new music from some artists that you might not have heard of to. Artists like Ashley Cook, Aurora, Bbno$, Grace, IAMDDB and IDR,

Who are they?

  • Imagine Dragons Over the last half-decade, Imagine Dragons have emerged as one of the biggest and most compelling rock bands in the world. Within a year of its June 2017 release, their third studio album EVOLVE went double-platinum, yielding three back-to-back #1 singles: “Believer,” “Thunder,” and “Whatever It Takes.”  In the midst of their Evolve World Tour—a 116 date trek that sold over 1.7 million tickets worldwide—the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning band began working on their follow-up, and ended up creating their most dynamic work to date.   • Bbno$, Rich Brianbbno$ (pronounced baby no money), is a Canadian-Armenian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. He is best known for his collaborations with rapper Yung Gravy as well as his 2019 single, “Lalala” with producer Y2K, which has reached over 700 million plays on the streaming service Spotify.   • Ashley Cook Raised between the coasts of California and Florida, Ashley Cooke is an up-and-coming country artist who is bringing authentic and honest storytelling to her music. The singer/songwriter developed her love of country music as Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and Florida Georgia Line quickly became the soundtrack of high school. Cooke followed her passion for music to Belmont University where she won the Country Showcase, placing her in an elite class of winners that includes Brad Paisley, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young and more.   • Billie Eilish –  Billie Eilish is an American singer and songwriter. She first gained public attention in 2015 with her debut single “Ocean Eyes”, which was subsequently released by Darkroom, a subsidiary of Interscope Records. The song was written and produced by her brother, Finneas O’Connell, with whom she frequently collaborates on music and in live shows.   • SayGrace ( Formally Known as Grace ) – Grace Sewell known professionally as SayGrace is is an Australian singer and songwriter. She is best known for “You Don’t Own Me”, a cover version of the 1963 Lesley Gore song, produced by Quincy Jones, Parker Ighile and featuring G-Eazy. The song, a single from her debut album with Regime Music Societe and RCA Records, was a number-one hit in Australia Find out more about SayGrace here.
  • Weezer – Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1992. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner. After signing to Geffen Records in 1993, Weezer released their self-titled debut album, also known as the Blue Album, in May 1994. Find out more about Weezer here.
  • IAMDDBDiana De Brito,[1] (born 5 March 1996) known by her stage name IAMDDB, is a British rapper and singer based in Manchester, United Kingdom. IAMDDB has released three EPs as of 2019 and was listed number three on BBC Sound of 2018. Find out more about IAMDDB here.
  • Rise Against – Political punk squad Rise Against has always maintained a strong connection with their fans, and their ninth album is a result of that connection. Nowhere Generation comes partly from the band’s conversations with their Gen Y and Z supporters who feel society’s deck has been stacked against them. From crippling college debt and poverty-level wages to labor automation and political malfeasance, the album seeks to voice the frustrations of the increasingly disenfranchised. “Much of this was written before the pandemic, but if the pandemic hadn’t happened, I don’t think the lyrics would hit as hard,” vocalist Tim McIlrath tells Apple Music. “A lot of the cracks in civil society—the stuff we were writing about anyway—were made bigger during the pandemic.   • IDER – are an English singer-songwriter duo from London, United Kingdom, composed of two friends Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville. Their music style combines features of various musical genres, and it has been described as “post-genre” or “cross-genre”. Formed in 2016 after its members met at Falmouth University, Ider has released a number of singles, and released their debut EP, Gut Me Like an Animal, in 2017.   • AURORAAurora Aksnes (born 15 June 1996), known mononymously as Aurora (stylized in uppercase), is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Stavanger, Aurora released her debut EP, Running with the Wolves, in 2015, through Decca Records. Later that year, she provided the backing track for the John Lewis Christmas advert, singing a cover of the Oasis song “Half the World Away”. Aurora released her debut studio album, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend, in 2016.
